Resistance welding is a method of welding by combining workpieces and applying pressure through electrodes, using the resistance thermal effect generated by the current passing through the contact surface and adjacent areas of the joint to heat them to a molten or plastic state. Tungsten and its alloy materials are very suitable for resistance welding electrode materials due to their good conductivity, high temperature resistance, and low deformation.
Tungsten materials are prone to oxidation and difficult to process at high temperatures, which limits their use as resistance welding electrodes. The electrode materials produced by Beijing BeiWu Tungsten Advanced Materials Science&Technology Co.,Ltd for resistance welding use special heat treatment processes, effectively improving the oxidation resistance and reprocessing performance of the electrode materials, without deformation or cracking during the welding process.
