With the characteristics such as high melting point, perfect plasticity, and high volatility-and-deformation resistance at high temperature, tungsten-rhenium wire is extensively applied in high-temperature furnaces. It is especially suitable for sapphire thermal field since heating element is not allowed to volatilize any substances that may contaminate the crystal; therefore, tungsten-rhenium binding wire becomes the only correct choice of binding wire for sapphire thermal fields. The grades of tungsten-rhenium wires produced by the Company include WRe3 (RE content is 3%, the same below), WRe5, WRe20, WRe25 and WRe26, among which, WRe25 is extensively applied as binding wire in high-temperature thermal field, particularly sapphire thermal field (2200℃ or higher) due to its advantages such as high-melting point, high plasticity, low volatility, and minor deformation. The general-purpose specs include diameter of 0.5mm and length of 100m/reel.
